How the neighborhood grew
The development history is unusually specific here and it explains the tree work. Beverly Hills was among the first retirement-oriented planned communities in Central Florida, built by Kellner's Rolling Oaks Corporation, which owned most of the non-residential property including a lumberyard and a concrete plant nearby. It grew from about 20 homes in the spring of 1962 to roughly 400 by the end of 1965, and to 4,500 residents in 2,200 homes by 1972.
That decade of construction does not date the trees on a property. Trees may predate a house or have been planted later, and the condition of one tree cannot establish the condition of its neighbours. Check the individual tree before deciding whether it needs pruning, support or removal.
